The course responsible has met 2 student representatives on Jan 19th 2026 to discuss the report from CEQs.

We agreed that the results of the CEQs were overall positive. The response rate had also improved compared to the year before, which is also positive.

In agreement with the students, we came up with the following areas of possible improvement.

- the computer lab was appreciated, but also felt as a bit disconnected from the rest of the course content. That can be improved by providing additional reading material. Also, the already planned development of the course content (more focus on movement analysis) is expected to help in that direction.
- the guest lectures were much appreciated, but their attendance was low. A high attendance is important for those lectures, also for the guest lecturers themselves. One options is to make the attendance to the 2 guest lectures compulsory, and to specifically add questions from the guest lectures to the exam.
- the examination form will change from 2026, it will be a written exam in class. The idea would be to have a 5 hour exam, where students receive a multiple choice quiz first (no books, etc. allowed) and then they receive a more classic calculation-based exam as soon as they hand in the quiz. Books and calculators will be allowed for the calculation-based part.
- the oral exam is appreciated by both course responsible and students, but is also very time consuming. The student representatives were positive to the option of having the oral exam in groups to save time.
- a better explanation of the grades for the assignments was asked. That can be fixed by adding notes with the points being deducted alongside the written feedback which is already provided.
- In order to improve the clarify for the students in terms of what is expected, there are two main suggestions:
a) make a mind map which is presented at the beginning of the course, and which shows the topics that will be covered and how they link to each other
b) provide more examples of previous written exams. May be tough to implement alongside a change in the examination, but I will work towards that goal.
